"This manual was developed for parents who were part of a study we conducted. We are posting this manual now, after receiving many many requests over the past few years from families who are worried about the possibility of autism in their infants, who want some help, and who have not been able to access any help yet within their communities. The manual contains the methods that we passed on to families during our 2014 study. We provide it with the caution that the study was a very small, preliminary pilot study developed to test the feasibility of the intervention, or how practical it would be for parents to use these strategies with infants, not to test the success of the intervention. We hope that it provides some support for you as you help your infant grow and learn."
